Privacy Policy — Storely Size
Last updated: April 9, 2026
Storely operates the Storely Size application for Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how merchants can contact us about data practices.
1. Information we collect
From merchants via Shopify APIs
- Store information such as shop name, domain, email address, Shopify plan, and currency.
- Product information such as titles, types, vendors, tags, categories, collections, and variant options.
- Theme information used to help verify whether the Storely Size app block is added to the storefront.
From merchants inside the app
- Setup configuration such as business category, default unit, and contact details the merchant chooses to display.
- Size chart templates, measurement tables, design presets, and related app settings.
- Onboarding and configuration preferences needed to operate the app.
From customers
When the optional fit recommender is enabled by a merchant, customers may voluntarily enter measurements needed to generate a size recommendation. Storely Size does not store those customer measurement inputs on its own servers.
We do not sell merchant or customer data to advertisers or third parties.
2. How we use information
- To provide size chart management, storefront rendering, and design customization.
- To assign templates to products and keep sizing information consistent.
- To support optional fit recommendation functionality when enabled by the merchant.
- To respond to support requests and improve the app.
3. How we share information
- Shopify: to read and write the store data needed for app functionality.
- Google Cloud Platform: for hosting and database infrastructure.
- AI provider: when a merchant enables the optional fit recommender, relevant size-chart context and shopper-entered measurements may be processed to generate a recommendation.
4. Data retention
- Merchant data is retained while the app remains installed and as needed to operate the service.
- When the app is uninstalled, Storely deletes app data associated with the shop from its systems in line with its retention policy.
- Store data that exists in Shopify metafields or metaobjects remains under the merchant’s Shopify store unless removed there.
5. Data security
- Data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
- Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest.
- Access to production systems is restricted.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, merchants may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or request portability of personal data. Requests can be sent to the contact email below.
7. International data transfers
Storely infrastructure may process data in the United States or other regions where service providers operate.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page.
